EKSEPTION Ceramides Moisturizer — moisturizing cream with ceramides A rich and nourishing water-in-oil (W/O) cream designed for people with dry and sensitive skin. It contains vegan ceramides and rice extract obtained through a special process designed to optimise the sphingolipid and phospholipid fractions. Ceramides play a key role in maintaining the structure and quality of the stratum corneum. Ceramides are major components of the intercellular lipid matrix, accounting for approximately 40% of its lipid composition. They are involved in several important biological functions, including regulating transepidermal water loss (TEWL), maintaining cohesion between the layers of the stratum corneum, protecting the skin and restoring the skin barrier.
